Each week our team look ahead at the AFL games and give their initial thoughts.

Brisbane Lions vs Collingwood
Mark Woods - Winner gets big boost, can Lions show up first half or is second half footy going to be the way for Brisbane?
Sean Anderson - Steele Sidebottom to kick game winning point from 65 metres out via torpedo.

North Melbourne vs Carlton
Mark Woods- Carlton must win this, North just have to be competitive.

West Coast vs Essendon
Mark Woods- Essendon win this, West Coast just have to be competitive.
Sean Anderson - Essendon 10+ goals Harley Reid two 50 metres penalties.

Melbourne vs Fremantle
Mark Woods- Fremantle win this, Melbourne HAVE to turn up for four quarters.

Adelaide vs GWS
Mark Woods- One of the big three matches, going to show which team will be definite top four contender.
Sean Anderson - Crows will show they have what it takes to go all the way.

Richmond vs Gold Coast
Mark Woods- Gold Coast win this, Richmond just have to be competitive.

Sydney vs Port Adelaide
Mark Woods- Had you asked me before Gather Round who I had winning this game, it was Sydney, now it is Port Adelaide, still don’t know where they are in the field and that is starting to scare me, they could be the under the radar team. Having said that, now they will play a completely different game than against Hawthorn.

Western Bulldogs vs St Kilda
Mark Woods- This is the best test for each club, both could be battling for the last finals spot, this goes a long way to that.

Geelong vs Hawthorn
Mark Woods- Saving the best for last, main event Monday, can’t wait to see what these two teams produce, Cats have been given the blueprints on how to dismantle the Hawks, the question is can they execute it like Port so perfectly did.
