Each week our team look ahead at the AFL games and give their initial thoughts.

Melbourne vs Richmond
Mark Woods- Either team can win this. If Richmond win, Goodwin pressure returns.
Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Richmond have the chance to do to Melbourne what they did to Carlton in round 1. An important night for Goodwin.
Josh Tonini- Richmond to pinch it in under 2 goals, the pressure escalates on Goodwin.

Collingwood vs Essendon
Mark Woods- Both teams are doing well, both teams can win. Nick Daicos brilliance for the ANZAC Medal.
Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- An exciting occasion for the 30th anniversary of this tradition. While both teams have a chance, Collingwood should get the job done here.
Josh Tonini- Anyone can win it! Collingwood win within a goal, Daicos ANZAC Medal

Fremantle vs Adelaide
Mark Woods- Fremantle considered in this game because it is in WA, if anywhere else then would not give them a thought.
Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Fremantle at home gives them an edge, but Adelaide seem to be a better team right now.
Josh Tonini- Adelaide win by 3 goals, jump into the Top 4.

St Kilda vs Brisbane Lions
Mark Woods- Brisbane should win easily. St Kilda needs to learn to play against the top sides.
Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- After losing for the first time all season last week, expect a fired up Lions when they take on St Kilda.
Josh Tonini- I give St Kilda a slim chance, however Brisbane should win by 5 goals+

Port Adelaide vs North Melbourne
Mark Woods- Port should win easily, have this one by 50+.
Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Expect a smiling Ken throughout and after this contest.
Josh Tonini- Port to have a thumping win and dominate from the first bounce. 60+

GWS vs Western Bulldogs
Mark Woods- Rivalry game. Will be an interesting match up and will show the league what these two teams are about.
Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- This is a fun rivalry game, expect a good crowd as always in Canberra and a close contest.
Josh Tonini- giants to bounce back after last weeks howler and win just by 2 goals

Gold Coast vs Sydney
Mark Woods- Can Gold Coast continue Sydney’s bad run? The Suns’ have built their home to be a fort, with that it will be difficult for the Swans.
Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Suns are a tough team to beat at home, that probably gives them a good two or three goal advantage here.
Josh Tonini- Great match ahead i feel. Sydney to win late after last weeks’ terrible kicking

Carlton vs Geelong
Mark Woods- Carlton’s first real test for 2025, must be competitive otherwise pressure back on Voss.
Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Carlton fans think they have a chance, but I reckon the Cats are stronger right now. Cats by at least three goals, it’s closer than that for most of the match though.
Josh Tonini- blues get off to a slow start, however their great second half run will carry over from last week vs north and will JUSTTTTT get over the line in a nailbiter. 3 points win lol

Hawthorn vs West Coast
Mark Woods- After two weeks of HokBall being destroyed, they get a chance to return to Hollywood.
Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- If Eagles start well and bring high intensity and pressure, they can make this game interesting.
Josh Tonini- After last weeks game that was 100% there to win, Hawks will come back and return to their best despite an early tussle with WC at the beginning.
